You have breakfast at the hotel with some free time. At mid-morning you will embark on your journey to Bilbao, capital of the province of Vizcaya.

Have a short panoramic tour to admire the Guggenheim Museum building. Rest of the time free to walk through its old town or to taste its gastronomy.

Meet your guide between gates 19 and 20 of the famous San Mamés stadium where the tour begins. Then experience a unique insight into the world of football with a tour of the stadium at grass level.   After the stadium tour, visit the modern & innovative Athletic Club museum, home to a wide selection of fascinating football memorabilia. Explore the museum & marvel at its collection of 500 original football-related objects collected over more than a century.

OVERNIGHT: Occidental Bilbao Hotel – Or Similar

Breakfast at the hotel with departure to Santander & free time upon arrival. Use this time to walk around & shop for souvenirs in this amazing city.  Thereafter continue to Santillana del Mar, a medieval village considered as a National Monument, take some memorable photos here.

And through the splendid landscapes you arrive to Covadonga with time at leisure to visit the Shrine & later continue to Oviedo.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure so as to explore Oviedo on your own with dinner here.

OVERNIGHT: Hotel Gran Regente – Or Similar

After breakfast depart via Salamanca with a short stop to admire its famous Plaza Mayor Square:  Situated in Cáceres, one of the town’s major historical landmarks. Stroll down its length and be rewarded with a gorgeous showcase of heritage architecture. The long and narrow square was first established in the 12th century, when it was used as the grounds for an annual fair.

Throughout the 15th century, magnificent medieval architecture was erected around the square and a series of arcades was established. The square is dotted with landmark structures, such as the Torre de Bujaco, Torre de los Púlpitos and the Torre de la Hierba. Thereafter continue with the journey to Madrid & transfer to the airport upon arrival.
