The Turkey Student Tour

After an early breakfast; pick at exactly 08.30 for a day tour of old Istanbul city.

Visit ST. SOPHIA; an ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century & reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, it is one of the architectural marvels of all time.

Head to TOPKAPI PALACE; the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans & their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

Tour SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet; also known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Then proceed to HIPPODROME (Ancient Hippodrome); the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.

Lunch break at 13.00 & after the lunch, it will be a Murtis Tour taking you to the Grand Spice Bazaar; a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping on many Exotic Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts & fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Please Note: Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays, Topkapi Palace closed on Tuesdays. If your tour is on one of these days, we would offer you a visit to the Underground Cistern instead of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace museum.

After breakfast with a lunch break in between and dinner at the hotel, you will be picked at 06:30am and depart for Gallipoli to visit the battle fields. Two hours later you will have 20 minutes to relax & refresh at a local restaurant.

Arrival in Gallipoli is foreseen around 12:00pm and you have lunch break on arrival, relax a little bit & then depart for the battle fields. Visit Gabatepe Museum; battle fields, Ariburnu Cemetery and Anzac Cave because these are the places where the war started from. Then proceed to the Beach Cemetery, Shrapnel Valley and Plugges Plateau. After the tour head to your hotel and refresh for dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will depart at 08.30am and drive 30 minutes to Troy. Arrive and visit the famous archeological & mythological site of Troy, home of the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy.

After the Troy tour, you will have 3 hour drive to Pergamon. Lunch break around 13.00Hrs and after lunch, depart for tour of the ancient magnificent acropolis of Pergamon. Its impressive temples and library made it a renowned cultural and political center at that time. Pergamon is a famous city for its jewelry, stones and silver. So on the way, you will also visit a jewelry center for about 30 minutes. Arrival in Kusadasi is foreseen around 18.00Hrs, where you will enjoy your dinner at the hotel in Kusadasi.

Starting with breakfast and thereafter, at 08.30am depart for fully guided tour of Ephesus; one of the best preserved ancient sites in the world en-route, visiting the Temple of Artemis, Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library, Grand theatre and House of the Virgin Mary.

Lunch break at around 13.00Hrs. After lunch you will visit a place which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving center. From where you will visit a Turkish Village (Sirince Village) whose construction style today belongs to Anatolian Greeks. The houses on the slope are all original with their white paints. Sirince Village also has a fantastic reputation for making some of the best wines in Turkey - especially fruit wines.

You will visit the vineyards with a chance to learn how to make fruit wine with Turkish wine makers. In the evening, you will be tested about your knowledge of making fruit wine. On the way, you will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region and have the opportunity to get a good factory rate. Dinner will be at the hotel in Kusadasi as you relax after the long day.

After breakfast, at 08.30am, you will depart for Pamukkale. You will check-in at the hotel around 12.00pm and have a lunch break until 1.30pm. Afterwards, you will visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs.

The rest of the evening will be spent at leisure with dinner at the hotel in Pamukkale.

OVERNIGHT: Venus Suite Hotel

After breakfast, depart Pamukkale for Antalya. After 2 hours you will have coffee break and thereafter continue to Antalya. Upon arrival in Antalya enjoy your lunch break around 1.30pm. After lunch visit Old City Kaleici, Clock Tower and Alexander the Great gate.

After the tour, drive to your hotel and checking in with the rest of the day at leisure and dinner at the hotel in Antalya.
