Turkey Family Tour

You will depart at 08:30am for the Istanbul city tour. Starting with TOPKAPI PALACE, the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, & Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans & their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

Proceed to SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.

Thereafter, head to HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine.

You will have a Lunch break & then visit the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) the air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme & every other conceivable herb & spice. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy in Istanbul.

After breakfast at the hotel in Istanbul, your day of family fun begins with a hotel pick-up & transfer to the Vialand Theme Park in the Eyüp district. This vast park is as large as a hundred football stadiums, and has the capacity to entertain 13,000 visitors.

Experience top rides including the Roller Coaster, Splash Coaster, Drop Tower, and Crazy River. Enjoy some free time to explore the park’s shopping mall afterwards.

After breakfast at 09:30 am. Go explore thousands of different inhabitants of the sea world including sharks, giant stingrays, piranhas & octopus. Tour Turkuazoo; the first modern giant aquarium in Turkey which presents an unprecedented experience to visitors & introduces various inhabitants of underwater collected from all around the world. There are 29 different aquariums with different themes from the Mediterranean & Aegean seas. The largest of 29 aquariums in Turkuazoo is filled with 5 million liters of water & includes an 80-meter-long acrylic underwater tunnel. The most spectacular site is the colossal observation deck featuring 270 degrees’ underwater views of the magnificent aquarium.

Transfer back to the hotel in the evening & enjoy your leisure time at the hotel or walk around.

At 08:30 after breakfast, depart from the hotel for a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient sites in the world en-route, visiting the Temple of Artemis, Curetes street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library, Grand theatre & House of the Virgin Mary. You will have a Lunch break around 13:00pm & after the lunch, visit a place which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving center.

Thereafter go for the Turkish Village Tour. Sirinces construction style today belongs to Anatolian Greeks. The houses on the slope are all original with their white paints. Sirince Village also has a fantastic reputation for making some of the best wines in Turkey - especially fruit wines.

You will visit the vineyards & it is time to learn how to make fruit wine with Turkish wine makers. In the evening you will be tested about your knowledge of making fruit wine.

On the way you will also visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region, where you will have the opportunity to get a good factory rate.
