Athens Golden City & The Magical Volcanic Island

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Athens city tour. We will take you to see the Parliament, a beautiful building in the heart of the City with the Monument of the Unknown Soldier below. Presidential guardsmen in their beautiful traditional costumes, worn during the Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire in 1821, guard the monument day and night.

After that, you will be taken in front of the Presidential residence and you will visit the Panathenian Stadium, or “Kallimarmaron”. It is a beautiful stadium, built of pure white Athenian marble taken from the Μount Penteli, where the first contemporary Olympic Games were held in 1896.

The temple of Apollo and the Gate of Andrianos are your next sight on the way to the sacred hill of the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Erechthion and all the other wonderful buildings of classical Greece.

After you have finished your visits, famous Plaka awaits! Traditional Athens, delicious traditional food, drinks, shops etc., all for you to enjoy before returning to your hotel. Your day ends early in the afternoon, full of color, memories and beauty!

After the end of the tour, return to the hotel with the rest of the afternoon free at leisure.

After our early morning wake up, we depart with our transfer vehicle to the port of Piraeus – the biggest port in Greece – for our ferry trip to the island of Milos. Milos is a wonderful island full of charm and surprises.

It is mostly famous due to the statue of Venus (Aphrodite) of Milos, a fine piece of Ancient Greek Art, which was discovered on the island and is hosted in the Louvre Museum in Paris today. Over the last years, Milos island has also become famous for the astonishing lunar landscape in Sarakiniko, the exotic water of the beaches and the picturesque architecture of villages, like Klima, Plaka and Pollonia.

Milos is a perfect holiday destination for families and romantic couples, as the island has a unique relaxing atmosphere. Do not miss a boat trip to Kleftiko, also known as the “Sea Meteora”, an amazing region on the southern side with exotic crystal clear waters.

Our tour today is designed to include the best of Milos in one full day. First you will be taken on an island sightseeing tour followed by a refreshing swim at one of the famous beaches of the island. You will visit the following places:

• Papafragkas cave


• Sarakiniko beach (30 minutes’ visit)


• Plaka (visit to traditional alleys)


• Catacombs, site where Venus of Milos was found, ruins of ancient town of Klima, ancient theater Fish village of Klima


• Swim in Palaiochori or Provatas; The beach is organized with beach bars which offer snacks and refreshments.

Tour duration: 10:00 - 18:00. You will later return to your hotel in the evening & the rest of your time will be at leisure.

Today we have an early wake up call. Our early bus transfer takes us to Milos port for our ferry trip to Santorini Port, at which we arrive in less than two hours. Transfer upon arrival from the port to your hotel in Santorini.

After breakfast we meet our bus and we start the tour of the day. From the port of Athinios, we head by caique boat to the volcano to see the active crater! Then we swim in the hot waters of Palea Kameni where the water temperature reaches 35^oC.

Then, sailing above the sub-marine crater, we reach the islet of Thirassia where you can eat, swim and visit the small traditional villages. After Thirassia, we continue to visit Oia to see the magical sunset. You can stroll around this lovely town and feel its magnificent vibes.

After sunset, you head to our bus and we return to our original departure point.

The tour includes a return bus transfer from your hotel to the port of Athinios.
