Taste Of Turkey Tour

After breakfast depart from the hotel at 08:30am for Istanbul City Tour. Visit "TOPKAPI PALACE"; the great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace houses an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain. Robes worn by the sultans & their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, & the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

Next on the list is the "SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE" Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, also known as the "BLUE MOSQUE" because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Outside the Blue Mosque we find the "HIPPODROME", which was a scene of chariot races & entertainment. This comprises of three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column & the Column of Constantine.

After a short enjoyable lunch break we head to the Grand Spice Bazaar for shopping and thereafter return to the hotel & stay at leisure.

After breakfast (lunch enroute), depart for the Bosphorus Cruise tour. Enjoy a magical Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise & Spice Market Tour starting at 08:30am. Enjoy an array of sites you can see from the boat including: the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar). The tour BOSPHORUS BY BOAT; a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe & Asia.

Lunch break at a local Turkish restaurant and thereafter depart to Istanbul airport for a domestic flight to Cappadocia. Arrive & transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel in Cappadocia with the rest of today at leisure.

Early breakfast & you will be picked up approximately 09:30am to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best preserved Underground cities in Cappadocia. Than visit to Uchisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia.

After Uchisar, you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum in the Heart of Cappadocia. It is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ & monks. Your next stop is Cavusin; an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. Thereafter you will have a lunch break at a local restaurant in Avanos.

After lunch visit a pottery work shop, to witness the whole pottery procedure. Then you will proceed to Pasabagi where you will see the 3 headed fairy chimneys, and later visit another workshop to see Cappadocian hand-woven carpets and kilims. From here your next stop is at the Devrent Valley, “Imagination Valley”, where you can see natural rock formations resembling animals. Then head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting.

Your last stop is at the 3 Beauties; 3 beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, which is the symbol of Cappadocia. This tour will end approximately at 18.00Hrs and you will return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.
