Tour Overview
Paraty with its cobblestone paved streets and horse carts used frequently around the town will kick off your package, you will then take on a boat tour on a schooner along the Paraty bay, have a day at leisure where you can go for some of the optional tours to Trindade, a Jeep tour 4x4 in the Serra da Bocaina National Park to explore most of the falls before you take a flight back home.

Trip Itinerary
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to Paraty and check in the hotel. Backed by steep, jungled mountains plunging into an island-studded bay, Paraty enjoys one of Brazil’s most spectacular settings and an exquisitely preserved colonial center, recognized as a National Historic Site since 1966. The town's pedestrianized streets are lined with elegant white buildings adorned with fanciful multihued borders and latticed windows that blend harmoniously with the natural beauty that envelops the town, it's a joy to explore. In the afternoon, explore the city of Paraty and its secrets with your guide. Explore the history of Paraty and its harmonious architectural ensemble of the XVIII century walking through the historic center with certified guide. We visited the churches (Matriz, Santa Rita, Rosario and Das Dores), museum, culture house, old houses and ateliers, and main monuments of the XVIII century.

Breakfast at the hotel and depart for your full day tour on a schooner to discover Paraty Bay. From the pier, you will spend your day cruising through the bay of Paraty on schooner NETUNO to some of Paraty’s favorite beaches. On the way, you will stop to explore a few of the many beautiful beaches and islands (two islands and two beaches) along the Paraty coast. The trips last around 5 hours and there are 4 stops for swimming, and snorkeling. You stay about 40 minutes in every stop, if you just want to admire the amazing view, we also offer a transport with a small boat, taking you directly to the sand. Lunch included during the tour.

Optional tour to Trindade with its beautiful beaches and its amazing natural pool is a paradise. We go by van or minibus accompanied by an expert guide. We will stop at several beaches for photos, swimming and snorkeling. Then we will hike 30mn through Atlantic rainforest to get access to the Caixa D’aço beach and 30mn more hiking to the natural pool of Caixa D’aço, a part of the sea surrounded by a set of rocks of different sizes that make it an unforgettable place, ideal for swimming and snorkeling just in the middle of a different species of colorful fish and a variety of maritime fauna.
Alternatively, is a Jeep tour 4x4 in the Serra da Bocaina National Park, pass by beautiful waterfalls near the city, also visit an alembic to know the production process of the famous Cachaça from Paraty. All the waterfalls visited have easy access, through small safe and quiet trails to walk and throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by a local bilingual guide.
