On this day after a leisurely breakfast depart for Malindi which was first visited by Vasco da Gama in 1498, this calls for a visit to the Vasco da Gama pillar.  Along the way, you will get a chance to stop at a local village to watch Giriama dancers after which you will visit the Gede ancient village which is gazetted as a national monument and national park. You can also bird at the Arabuko Sokoke forest reserve.

Spend the day at leisure and in the late afternoon, embark on your journey back to Mombasa.

After breakfast, depart for Mombasa City Tour.  Places of interest include; Fort Jesus to visit the torture chambers and prisons cells where the slaves were held in captivity, the old town where you can have a taste of the Kenyan culture and architecture, Mombasa Tusks, Akamba Handcraft Co-operative, Riyadha Mosque, Uhuru gardens the home of Kenya’s largest independence monument, Mama Ngina Drive, among others. In the evening, depart for the Dhow Cruise Known for their steak and sea food, Tamarind’s floating restaurant offers an exotic ambiance, while you watch the sun set as you sail down Tudor Creek.

This is a former quarry that has now been transformed into a variety of recreational facilities including forests/nature trails and game sanctuaries, and crocodile and fish farms. See abundant wildlife including hippo, antelope, birds, reptiles, snakes, giant tortoises, crocodiles and giraffes.

Diani is the most developed area on the South Coast and offers beautiful beachscapes where you can sprawl under rustling palms. Enjoy the busy lineup of water sports from windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling   and diving to water skiing and parasailing. Later in the evening, return to Mombasa.

Spend your day at leisure with optional activities of your choice like the Mombasa Go- Kart (Bamburi Beach). For kids of all ages, zoom around in Go-Karts, Bounce on off-road buggies. Another alternative is the Wild Waters, Nyali which is the biggest of its kind in East Africa providing complete family experience of fun in the water, land and air.
