Tour Overview
Start off with the Peranakan trail and taste some food while you encounter with the Babas and Nonyas culture, history and lifestyle before you proceed with a Kampong trishaw experience as you explore Singapore’s little Indian and Kampong ethnic areas and transfer to Bali the following day where you will visit the Uluwatu Cliff temple, Jimbaran beaches and watch the fire dance performance. Stay at leisure for the rest of your stay with optional activities of your own choice before the departure day.

Join us on a colourful journey into the history, lifestyle and unique character of the Peranakan Babas (the men) and Nonyas (the women). A splendid display of Peranakan costume, embroidery, beadwork, jewellery, porcelain, furniture, craftwork will provide a glimpse into the fascinating culture of the Nonyas and Babas. A visit to the bustling enclaves of Katong & amp, Joo Chiat showcases the rich and baroque Peranakan architecture. See rows of colourful traditional shophouses that dates back to 1920s and 1930s. A sampling of Nonya delicacies completes the tour.

Make your own way to Kampong from the hotel and explore Singapore's Little India and Kampong Glam ethnic precincts with Trishaw Uncle in a 2-seater Trishaw. These areas were designated for Singapore's early migrant communities and have kept their unique identity and enchanting character until today. This tour is audio-recorded and after your trishaw experience is done, you will be dropped back at the mall and thereafter make your own way back to your hotel.

Enjoy a pleasant short ride along the hills of Bali's southern peninsula. This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequalled by any other regions of the Island. Unlike the majority lush tropical country sides which owed their fertile soils to the volcanoes that dotted the central highlands, this arid terrain-formed by millennia of coral sedimentations is a world of its own. Their beautiful-yet-wild beaches are heaven for surfers. In the corner of this peninsula, perched on a sheer cliff, is a highly venerated Uluwatu temple. A performance of The Ramayana epic-based Kecak Dance with the majestic temple and sunset as its background, will give a climax to this memorable evening. The tour ends up at Jimbaran Beach to enjoy Seafood dinner, served on the beach.
