Very early in the morning you will be starting off your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya, with a lunch stopover along the way. Arrival is foreseen in the evening and you will spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax after the long journey. Pick-up at Kenya – Uganda Boarder (Include En-route lunch)

After an early breakfast start off the day’s adventure where you will study about the geographical facts & history of this conservation area. This is a full day experience with a lunch break. The most important areas of study while on this discovery include:
Physical features; like Lion Hills, Makalia waterfalls, varied vegetation, picturesque landscape, and yellow acacia woodlands together with a wide range of birds especially Flamingoes and Pelicans.

Prior to your departure to Nairobi, enjoy your breakfast on a leisurely morning and later on embark on your journey to the capital city of Kenya.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

You have this day to explore all the highlights of the city ranging from historical sites to wildlife conservation centers. These attractions for your study purposes include but not limited to:
The Nairobi Railway Museum: This historical museum is adjacent to Nairobi railway station, containing exhibits from the defunct East African Railways, opened up in 1971 by the East African Railways and Harbors Corporation, operated by Kenya Railways. The museum's collection also includes early diesel locomotives and passenger coaches. Visiting this place will equip you with all the history related to the railway transport & operations.
Proceed to Karen Blixen Museum: Located in what was then British East Africa, the bungalow-style house which is now the Karen Blixen Museum was built in 1912 by the Swedish engineer (Åke Sjögren). The house and its attached property were bought in 1917 by Karen Blixen and her husband with the intention of operating a coffee plantation. Get here & learn more details about this museum.
Discover the people and culture at the Bomas of Kenya: Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi. Bomas (homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. And this is home to one of largest auditoriums in Africa. The word “Bomas” is derived from a Swahili word “Boma” meaning a homestead hence the word Bomas in plural. It was established by the government in 1971 as a tourist attraction to promote the rich and diverse cultural values of various tribal groups of Kenya.
Visit the Giraffe Centre: Also located in Langata, it was established in to protect the endangered giraffe. The Giraffe Center, was started in 1979 by Jock Leslie Melville, the only Kenyan grandson of a Scottish Earl, when he and his wife captured 2 young giraffes to start a program of breeding giraffes on their Langata property, site of the present Centre.
After the day’s excursion, you will return to your hotel and spend your leisure with dinner.

After breakfast and lunch at your hotel, you will be departing Nairobi for Arusha in Tanzania. Arrive at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure with dinner on time.

Enjoy an early breakfast and get into the discovery of Arusha’s major attractions with a lunch break. The main attractions to visit in Arusha today, include but not limited to:
Visit Arusha National Park: Arusha National Park is located about 60 km from Arusha town. It is home to Mt. Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania after Kilimanjaro. The national park features diverse range of wildlife including buffalo, giraffe, elephants, baboons, leopards, bushbucks, and hippos. Here you will have a game drive so as to view the varied wildlife of the park and hike Mount Meru. Discover the other park’s remarkable botanical and geographical areas, featuring picturesque lakes, beautiful volcanic craters (Ngurdoto Crater) and magnificent landscapes.
Arusha City Tour: By taking this tour you will visit some of Arusha’s main sites on a walking tour that’s a great way to orient yourself in the city while getting a glimpse of daily life in local neighborhoods. You’ll see the independence monuments, get to the Arusha Central Market, and craft shops.
Tour the National Natural History Museum: Located in the Old Boma, a former German colonial military complex, the National Natural History Museum features a collection of exhibits, which depict human evolution and historical findings. You’ll also see a display of a variety of insects, a collection of animal and plants photos on the wall, taken by a renowned photographer (Dick Persson). The museum also features the history of the German colonial administration. Visit Meserani Snake Park: The snake park is a special treasure of Arusha, located only 25km west of Arusha on the route to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Upon getting here, take a guided tour and learn about some of the most dangerous snakes in the world ranging from the Black and Green Mamba, Egyptian Cobra to Puff Adders and many more. Capture your special moment and hold a real live snake. After this visit you will return to your hotel and spend your leisure time with dinner.

After an early breakfast enjoy a 2-hour drive to Moshi with a lunch break.
Tour Moshi town: Moshi is a Tanzanian municipality located in the Kilimanjaro Region on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest dormant volcano in Africa. It covers about 59km2 making it the smallest municipality in Tanzania by area. Enjoy sightseeing of the cleanest town of Tanzania with views of the old precolonial buildings of the German era and the historical monuments.
Study tour of the Coffee-Roasting Factory: Situated in the Mount Kilimanjaro base is the most interesting place in Moshi to know about coffee plantation. As you enjoy a hike through the coffee plantation spreading over the mountain slope like a blanket, learn about the history of the coffee plantation in the area. Observe the coffee collection methods & the procedure of obtaining the seeds which are roasted afterwards, & coffee dust is obtained.
Visit the Old Moshi Train Station: This defunct historical station was built in 1911 as part of the first railway in what was then known as German East Africa (comprised of Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi). As time went on, the railway became less and less used until it completely stopped around the 90’s. After this excursion you will spend the rest of the day at your hotel or take a walk in town sampling the various street foods as prepared by the locals.
OVERNIGHT: At the hotel, Moshi
Journey time: 11hr: 35min (Moshi-Kisumu)/6hr: 40min (Kisumu-Kampala)
On this day you will have breakfast at your hotel & then start off your journey back home. Overnight in Kisumu with lunch in Nairobi, upon arrival stay at leisure with dinner at the hotel in Kisumu. The following day (11th day) proceed with the journey to Kampala. Drop-off at Kenya – Uganda Boarder on Day 8.
