Lake Nakuru National Park was created in 1961 around Lake Nakuru ("Dusty Place" by the Masai), in the vicinity of Nakuru Town, famous for its huge population of flamingos scattered along the shores. Whereas Lake Naivasha National Park (est. 1995) is home to unique features like an extinct volcano (Mount Longonot), a thick forest along the crater Mountain & is dominated by Umbrella Acacia trees mostly found along the banks of the lake.
Fly to Kenya & get along with the pink flamingoes in their thousands in addition to a variety of wildlife within Lake Nakuru (Kenya’s most visited national park). Your stay offers the opportunity to explore Lake Naivasha National Park with its Safari film scenes of ‘’Out of Africa’’ following a boat cruise to Crescent Island; explore wildlife ranging from Giraffe, Zebra, Hippos, Antelope, Wildebeest, to variety of birds including the Giant Kingfishers ending with a visit to Maa Museum & a wide range of optional activities to choose from.
Fly Uganda Airlines from Entebbe to Nairobi. Flight departs at 08:00 arriving at 09:15am. You will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight Double Tree by Hilton Nairobi- Bed & Breakfast.
After a sumptuous breakfast, you will depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey will take about 2.5 hours them you will arrive at lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy game drives in one of Kenya’s most visited park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home of the pink flamingos.
Thereafter, you will proceed to Naivasha driving another 90 minutes. Check in and have dinner. If you feel like hanging out, then head to the night club within the resort and dance the night away.

After Breakfast, cross by boat to Crescent Island where safari scenes of Out of Africa were filmed. It is a walkable island where you can walk among giraffe, zebra, hippos, antelope, wildebeest, and many birds such as goliath heron, spoonbills and giant kingfishers. Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Maa Museum. Take a tour of the first privately registered museum in Kenya and discover why the Maasai people continue to fascinate millions across the world. Experienced curators spent over 6 years visiting the communities to put together a real authentic museum just for you.

Today you will take it slow with no hurry. Check out after lunch and head back to Nairobi. You will then check out for your outbound flight at 18:50.
