Here is another wonderful cultural experience of Malaysia. With this tour you will experience bustling Little India of Malaysia, traverse the old British colonial forts, learn about the Malaysian History & Culture at the State Museum. Visit China Town and see a Christian Church, Chinese Temple, Indian Temple and Muslim Mosque located within the same cluster regardless of the different religious ideologies at the Street of Harmony.

You will also visit Propolis Bee Farm from where you will get behind the scenes of the whole process & have a taste of Malaysian honey together with the local cuisines & wine at the Food Paradise of Penang in the middle of the scenic Malaysian countryside.

By the end of your tour, you will be having a full knowledge regarding ‘’Buddhism’’, a commonly practiced religion of Malaysia, food & all the local traditions of the people of Malaysia.

Trip Itinerary

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Get to the hotel, check in and recuperate from the long flight.

Take a stroll to explore the city of George Town in a much slower pace, walk through the narrow streets where Famous Heritage Landmarks of Penang are found.


Start from Fort Cornwallis passing by the Clock Tower and then proceed to the Waterfront Jetties. From there go through the bustling Little India, the commercial & banking area, the St. George’s Church, old Chinese Temples and narrow streets dotted with boutique hotels and cafes.


Named after King George III of England - George Town, being the oldest city in Malaysia that remains unchanged till this day where old Colonial Buildings with narrow streets are found. Move on to a Burmese & Thai Temple to discover the famous and most beautiful Golden Reclining Buddha Statue.


Next visit the State Museum to understand the local cultures of various races and the early history of Penang. Proceed to the British built Fort where the old structure and cannons are still intact. Pass by the clock tower and proceed to the waterfront where a walk down the Clan Jetty on the wooden platform where houses are built on stilt and a view of Penang Bridge.


A slow drive through Little India, China Town and find out how Church, Chinese Temple, Indian Temple and Muslim Mosque are located just steps away from each other at Street of Harmony.


Return to the hotel later after your excursion for dinner & relaxation.

After breakfast, explore Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient". Enjoy a tour up to the refreshing Penang Hill and a visit the largest temple in Malaysia, the Kek Lok Si Temple. Kek Lok Si Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in South East Asia. It is also known as the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas also known as monasteries of the supreme bliss where Gigantic Bronze Statue of Goddess of Mercy can be seen.


Next, visit Penang Hill by Funicular Train ride up Penang Hill and elevation of 833M above sea level. After that, head to The Penang Botanical Gardens, about 8 km from Georgetown, and some of the flora there includes the cannonball tree, sengkuang tree, pinang palm, black lily, slipper orchids and more. Some of the more interesting plants at the gardens are kept under lock and key. It is a well landscaped place that contains a huge variety of indigenous and exotic plant species.


Continue your journey to the Propolis Bee Farm and take part in a behind-the-scenes tour. Learn more about bee breeding and honey farming in Penang. Proceed to Royal Selangor Pewter Factory and get insight into the art of pewter making.


Watch the internationally renowned food paradise island comes alive at night. Start the evening with a visit to the boisterous Gurney Drive and its color hawker center. This is the perfect place to sample authentic Penang cuisine including asam laksa, pasembor, char koay teow and Hokkien mee amongst others.


The rest of the evening will be yours at leisure upon returning to the hotel.
