This trip takes you to the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro is considered the biggest carnival in the world, with two million people per day on the streets. The first Carnival festival in Rio occurred in 1723. Go on a Guanabara Bay city tour by sea, and transfer to Corcovado Mountain by train and have panoramic views of the sky while standing at the holy feet of Christ the Redeemer. Learn how to dance Samba and later visit the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and watch the sunset at Arpoador stone as you walk through the rocks.

Trip Itinerary
Arrival at Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Welcome and pick up at Rio de Janeiro airport, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Breakfast at your hotel and in the morning, transfer to Marina da Gloria for a cruise on the Guanabara Bay. You will have a city tour by sea where you will experience the beautiful landscapes, modern architecture and the main tourist and historical sights of famous Guanabara Bay. After lunch, transfer to Corcovado mountain by train, enjoy a panoramic view of the sky while standing at the holy feet of one of the world’s new seven wonders (Christ the Redeemer), revel in the unobstructed views of lush mountains and Island-studded deep blue waters that make up Rio’s dramatic backdrop and listen as your guide points out the sights of the city from atop this granite peak.

Breakfast at your hotel and set off in the morning with a visit to the Sugarloaf Mountain and discover the Red Beach in Urca neighborhood. Surrounded by coconut and bamboo trees, this place is just another charming oasis of peace and calm in Rio de Janeiro where you will learn about Urca neighborhood while walking around its beautiful streets. Then ride by a cable car to the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain where you can enjoy the amazing views. Spend the afternoon at leisure as you wait on an exciting visit to the Sambadrome where you will experience the raucous energy in the stadium as you watch elaborate floats parades as Rio’s top Samba schools compete for the prestigious title of first place. All to exotic beats of percussion instruments and a colorful display of twirling dancers in lavishly feathered and beaded costumes.

Breakfast at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may spend your day at the famous Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach, walking through the Orla and do some souvenirs shopping. Drink fresh coconut water, eat an acai and finally watch the sunset at Arpoador stone. Walk along the rocks and enjoy a wonderful wide view of the ocean and Ipanema.
