Your tour drops you to Kizimkazi to experience the dolphins & sample the various optional activities.
There are few such evocative names as Zanzibar, the island that is part of Tanzania and lies about 20 miles off the coast near Dar es Salaam. For the first night you will be based in the old Stone Town, and have the opportunity to wander through fascinating narrow streets and the bustling bazaar. The following four nights you will spend on Zanzibar’s endless white, palm fringed beaches in a beach resort of your choice.
On arrival you will be received by your guide & transfer to the hotel on the island.

Your program starts with a morning visit by walk to our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace) & the Arab plus others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved & studded doors, two cathedrals & countless antique mosques including spices.
After your tour, transfer to the beach & spend your next three days exploring.

In the morning you will drive along the coast, past the fishing villages of Bwejuu & Paje to Jambiani; a fishermen village on the East coast of Zanzibar. You will be offered a cultural village tour visiting villagers working in different professions.
Our guide tells about the history of the village, you will visit a traditional herbalist, who will show you the local medicines, herbs & their uses with a visit to a local organic plantation on coral stone, where farmers cultivate under difficult circumstances, & seaweed farms run by woman. A good chance to learn about the unique culture and the diverse environment of Zanzibar's villages and to meet the friendly Waswahili people.

On this day, you go to an excursion in Kizimkazi. Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. We are doing this trip in the afternoon to avoid the crowds of tourists in the morning, who turn up in big numbers disturbing the dolphins. So, you get to spend your morning at leisure.

You will have breakfast at the hotel, then do souvenir shopping & later be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your outbound departure.
