The Sands at Nomads Beach

The Sands at Nomad is a luxury boutique hotel on Diani Beach. The hotel is set amid indigenous tropical forest and overlooking the Indian Ocean.There are 30 luxurious rooms and suites and seven private cottages all with a unique design and furnished with traditional Swahili carved pieces. All rooms have air conditioning, entertainment systems, private bars and some have their own Jacuzzis.

There is also a 24 hour room service and the hotel has a spa called The Forest Breeze which offers traditional massages and Ayurvedic and reflexology treatments.

Food is good at The Sands with a selection of à la carte dining options including The Red Pepper, where you can enjoy contemporary Thai cuisine, and the Rivas Bar.

The hotel has a PADI 5-star dive center which offers dive courses, wreck explorations and whale shark spotting. Other water sports on offer including kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and deep sea fishing.

The Sands at Nomad provides uninterrupted access to a sought after beach location, making it's exclusivity a great perk. The seas are abundant in marine life, and the coastal forest boasts some fantastic flora which many different bird and insect species call home.

The hotel itself is comprised of 8 Forest View Rooms, 10 Sea Breeze Rooms, 6 Ocean View Rooms and 7 Beach Cottages. It is scattered across 26 acres of coastline, and sits between the beautiful sandy beach and tropical forest. The main reception and lounge area are warm and inviting, with a great pool and pool bar attractively nestled in the middle. The Bar has fantastic sea views, and is ideal for relaxing with your sundowner drink of choice in the evening. The restaurant is set apart from the main lodge for maximized privacy and tranquility, as well as the private Beach Bar which is a great place to refresh yourself with it's selection of snacks, juices, ice cream and fresh cuts from the kitchen.
